It’s that time of year when many of us will be reflecting on the year that’s gone by and looking forward to the coming 12 months. It’s a time full of reminiscences for many, and regret for some – often because promises made at this time last year have yet to materialise. It’s the same for everybody, in one way or another.

Many of us set out each New Year to maybe drink a bit less, exercise a bit more, and generally take better care of ourselves. And it’s at this time of year that we’re most susceptible to those quack get-fit-quick schemes and seemingly miraculous crash diets and supplements.

Deep down, we all know that none of them works on its own, so if it’s sensible, healthy advice you want, then is one of the best we’ve seen.
