Logitech Bluetooth Easy-Switch Keyboard can pair with up to three OS X and iOS devices

Logitech is expanding its line-up of Mac accessories with a new Bluetooth keyboard and Trackpad combo. Each sold separately, they are tied in their wireless connectivity with Apple devices, and each has stand-out features that make them very interesting prospects indeed.

The Logitech Bluetooth Easy-Switch Keyboard is compatible with both OS X and iOS and can pair with up to three devices, switchable via three top-ranged keys. That means you can have it connected to a Mac, but suddenly start to type on an iPad or iPhone without having to go through the pairing process each and every time.

It also has back illumination that automatically adjusts to suit the room's own lighting, and proximity detection to switch on only when needed. It has an aluminium top-case to match an iMac or MacBook. And it charges through a USB cable, so you can still use it while charging. A single charge should last for up to 10 days.

The Logitech Rechargeable Trackpad for Mac also uses USB charging, but will last up to a month on a single charge. It offers a larger surface area than Apple's own Trackpad and is compatible with all of Mac OS X's multi-touch gestures.

Aesthetically, it has a low profile and a high-quality glass finish, and similarly matches the design of an iMac or MacBook. Its Bluetooth connection has a range of up to 30 feet.

Both the Easy-Switch Keyboard and Rechargeable Trackpad will hit UK retailers and Logitech's own online store in January 2013, at £89.99 and £59.99 respectively.
