Photoshop CS6 and Illustrator CS6 now Retina ready
Adobe has finally updated Photoshop CS6 and Illustrator CS6 to play nice with Apple's Retina Macbook Pro models, six months after the Cupertino-based company launched the screen tech in San Francisco.
The new updates come ahead of a scheduled announcement from Adobe at its Create Now event.
The update, which will appeal to creative types using the new MacBook pro range from Apple, joins Lightroom 4.3 in going Retina but still leaves some other Adobe software in the "blurry" past, so to speak.
"The Adobe Photoshop 13.0.2 update enables support for new HiDPI displays on the Macintosh platform for a dramatic improvement in image fidelity and resolution," says Adobe in the update notes for Photoshop.
Adobe has yet to say formally when those apps will be getting a glossy high-res makeover.
If you are an Adobe Creative Cloud customer, the updated versions will automatically be available to you as part of your subscription.
