New Tomb Raider trailer shows just how brutal it will be - mature viewers only (video)

Crikey! After we saw a level play-through at E3 in June, we put the new Tomb Raider reboot on our "one to watch" list. After the new trailer was released by developer Crystal Dynamics it's now firmly a "must have".

The first adventure of Lara Croft is not going to be for the faint hearted, if this new collection of cut-scenes and gameplay is anything to go by. We already knew what brings our Lara to perform her first kill, but that distressing and brave plot line seems to be only the beginning. From what we've seen so far, the latest in a (mostly) fantastic franchise will be more dramatic, more cinematic than either of the two Angelina Jolie movies.

To reflect its theme, this trailer is locked behind a "mature-viewers" disclaimer. You'll see why.

Just wow!

The 2013 reboot of Tomb Raider will be released on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on 5 March 2013.
