Images purporting to show the new 13-inch Apple Macbook Pro with Retina Display have emerged on the internet, providing a few indicators of what we can expect.
With Apple due to command the tech world’s attention at a San Jose event on 23 October, along with the much anticipated iPad mini, the Cupertino giant is expected to unveil a new 13-inch Macbook Pro complete with Retina Display.
WeiPhone.com has published what it claims to be photos of the laptop ahead of launch. Stating that the display will boast a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, the images also show two Thunderbolt ports, an HDMI port and SD card reader.Though these are all features found in Apple’s 15-inch Macbook Pro with Retina Display unveiled earlier in the year, the new 13-inch version does appear to be lacking the speakers that sit on either side of the 15-inch Macbook Pro's keyboard.
The 13-inch Retina Display Macbook Pro is expected to be unveiled alongside the iPad mini, a new iMac, a spruced up new-gen iPad and possibly a new Mac Mini. Pricing for the 13-inch Macbook Pro with Retina Display is being placed at between $1,599 and $1,699.
