Google has started rolling out the 4.1.2 update to Galaxy Nexus GSM users in the UK, Pocket-lint has learnt, after one of our readers told us his phone had received the over-the-air update on Monday.

The update, which was touted last week, brings with it a few tweaks aside from the usual bug fixes and speed improvement.

One of those tweaks is one-finger expandable notifications which allow you to collapse the notifications categories if you want to keep them out of the way. For example: keep that you have four emails, but not show who the emails are from.

Our reader was on the UK O2 network.

UPDATE: Other readers are letting us know they are getting the update too, as are Nexus S owners.

Thanks Ken.
