The Apple iPad mini will be available from 249 euros and will come in both Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi and cellular variants, according to a leaked screenshot of a sales inventory system.

The picture was posted on German blog schimanke.com and lists all available versions of the iPad mini, starting with an 8GB Wi-Fi-only version through to a 64GB Wi-Fi and cellular version of the tablet device priced at 649 euros. This is despite claims that the iPad mini would initially be Wi-Fi only

According to the inventory listing, with each increment in memory comes an additional 100 euro price hike. Listing all variants as coming in black (“Schwarz”) and white (“Weiss”), a conversion of the purported euro price puts the costs of an iPad Mini 8GB Wi-Fi version at around £200. It’s worth noting that the Google Nexus 7 is also available for £199, but for that you get 16GB of on-board memory - an 8GB version will cost you £159.

However, Pocket-lint wouldn’t be surprised if the final UK pricing for such a model would be more likely to be around £229.

Though the iPhone 5 in the US cost the same as the iPhone 4S when it was initially released, the price rose from £499 to £529 here in the UK.

Ultimately we’re speculating on the price of a device yet to be revealed, but if the rumours are to be believed, we won’t have to wait too much longer to separate fact from fiction, with Apple expected to unveil the iPad mini on 23 October.
