Asus has already confirmed that it will be launching the next version of the Asus Padfone on 16 October in Milan, but it turns out the CEO of the company just couldn't wait.
In an interview with Bloomberg TV, Jerry Shen, Asus CEO, has revealed what we can expect from the company on Tuesday: the second PadFone packed with a larger 4.7-inch HD screen and a 13-megapixel camera.
Where it differs from the original is that the phone docks straight into the accompanying tablet case rather than your having to pull open a hatch and that it is thinner than the previous model. It looks to be running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
Shortly after the video was released, Twitter account EVleaks, posted a number of official looking press shots to Twitter. The images match the device shown by Shen in the video.
Pocket-lint will be covering the Asus Padfone 2 launch live from Milan on Tuesday, 16 October.
We will keep you posted.
