Klipsch has upgraded its Image One headphones and introduced a brand new, wire-free Bluetooth edition to the range. The wired version now features flat earpads and an adjustable leather headband, while the Image One Bluetooth headset is the company's first foray into wireless cans.
Using A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) hi-fi Bluetooth combined with the aptX Codec for lossless streaming, the Klipsch Image One Bluetooth headphones retain the same audio signature as the wired equivalent. The headset's built-in rechargeable battery is good for up to 10 hours of music playback (or talking through the mic), and sound is reproduced through a single KG150, 40mm full-range drive unit, with a frequency response of 16Hz-23kHz.
The redesigned Klipsch Image One headphones now come in a flatter, more portable case - thanks to the svelte ear cups - and a three-button remote and in-line mic is included for Apple devices.
Klipsch is listing the Image One Bluetooth 'phones at £199.99, while the new-look Image One set costs £129.99. They are both available at select retailers and from the brand's own website: www.klipsch.co.uk.
