Warner puts HD DVDs in Potter Blu-ray box set
Special "purple" editions reported by irate customers

In what looks like a small scale manufacturing mix-up, some consumers splashing out for Blu-ray edition of Warner's "Harry Potter Years 1-5 Giftset" have actually found an HD DVD version of the "Goblet of Fire" disc packaged in the set.
Folk on both AVSForum and Blu-ray.com have reported the problem, with one disgruntled Blu-ray fan's ire rising further after being cut-off when he called Warner's customer service department to complain.
Warner has yet to issue an official comment on the mistake, but industry wags are commenting that it could be an interesting take on the Total HD concept.
