Plantronics has announced a successor to its flagship Voyager Pro hands-free kit, the Voyager Legend. The headset has three specially tuned microphones which optimise your voice and lead to the best possible call quality even when in noisy environments.

The real talking point of the Voyager Legend though is its Smart Sensor tech, which can essentially work out whether you are wearing the headset or not. Other things, like wideband audio, which is found in the new iPhone 5, is also included. Then there is A2DP, multipoint technology and clever audio prompts which list things like caller ID.

Expect to get seven hours of talk time from the headset from one charge. Those interested will find it costs around £89.99 on the likes of Amazon and from Apple itself.

Plantronics has been making best-in-class hands-free kits for a long while, so those who are looking into one could do much worse than the Voyager Legend.
