Klipsch has launched the iGroove SXT speaker that they describe as a true two-way, stereo sound system.
Employing dual long-throw 2.5-inch woofers in a ported enclosure and dual 19mm MicroTractrix horn-loaded tweeters, this kind of horn-based technology is unique in this category.
The system accepts and charges any iPod with a 30-pin connector while shuffles and other digital devices connect via a rear-mounted auxiliary input, but without the charging ability.
An S-video output lets users view videos on external monitors and the iGroove SXT comes complete with an IR remote and is ready to go as soon as you plug it in and dock an iPod.
Available in a black finish with a black cloth grille, the iGroove has a retail price tag of £99.99 and is available at Amazon and Carphone Warehouse.
