With Photokina starting next weekend there's no surprise that there's a lot of gossip about cameras at the moment, and Sony's forthcoming line-up has been the victim of more leaks than a radiator made of cheese.
We've already seen a fair few of the specifications expected to feature on the Sony a99 full-frame SLT (that's right, this won't be a traditional DSLR as per the A900), but until now there have been no pictures as such. As is the way with these things though, you hope for one press image to turn up and a whole bunch of them suddenly arrive.
It is strongly believed that spec-wise the a99 will come with 24.3-megapixel full-frame CMOS Exmor sensor, translucent mirror technology, and an ISO range that can go as low as 50 and up to 25,600.
It'll be Full HD (1080p) for video recording and its 3-inch screen will be tiltable. The viewfinder is expected to be a mini OLED panel, but the resolution is yet to be specified.
As the pictures (leaked by Canadian website Photoprice.ca) reveal, there are plenty of connections; headphones, microphone, USB and HDMI. And there are two memory card slots (SD and SD+MS) too.
We expect to find out more about the Sony a99 in the next few days, so keep checking back on Pocket-lint for updates.
