Solwise has launched a wireless Digital Media Player, the DMP-1120w.

Like other media streaming products, the new device gives you a wireless link between a PC and a television, allowing you to stream your content for telly-style viewing without having to burn CDs and DVDs.

Files can be navigated via title, album, artist or genre or if you're bored of your own music collection, the device also supports internet radio without having to keep your PC on.

The DMP-1120w has a USB port so it can be connected directly external hard drive, music player, etc, while there is card slot support for MS/SD/MMC and CF.

As well as its 802.11g wireless connectivity, the new device is also compatible with HomePlug which can turn any electrical socket into a network port, adds Solwise.

The Solwise DMP-1120w is priced at £83.30 and available now.
