Having been beaten to the punch for the announcement of its own product, LG has started a teaser campaign for its Qualcomm-powered quad-core smartphone.
Qualcomm had previously made the reveal by releasing an official document before the Korean manufacturer had even had a chance to unveil the so far unnamed phone.
However, the latest video – it’s in Korean – looks to be the first of five, as LG hints at what the phone will provide in terms of experience.
Games and video are sure to figure heavily in the LG handset on account of the latest Snapdragon S4 Pro quad core APQ8064 chip that Qualcomm will provide.
The Verge is also reporting to have heard rumours of a 720p 4.7-inch IPS display, 13-megapixel camera with 2GB of RAM.
In Qualcomm’s earlier statement, the company also stated that the LTE-enabled phone would be made available in Korea as soon as September, before being rolled out to the rest of the world.
With only a few days left in August, expect LG’s teaser campaign to build momentum in the coming weeks. Now where’s that Korean dictionary?
