Samsung Series 7 Gamer notebook gets refresh and yellow paintjob

Samsung has certainly made sure you’ll notice the latest update to its Series 7 Gamer 3D notebook, by emblazoning it in a garish yellow.

However, it’s not just the paintwork that has been revamped by Samsung, with the manufacturer beefing up a number of key specs, though the screen remains a 17.3-inch SuperBright (400nit) 3D LED display with 1920 x 1080 resolution.

The processor is a third-generation Intel i7-3610QM, while Samsung has kitted the notebook with an improved AMD Radeon HD 7870M AMD graphics card to help handle the 3D game play.

Samsung is also promising an improved battery life with memory boosted by 1TB of on-board storage and a further 128GB SSD for faster booting times.

There’s no word on an international rollout yet, but Samsung will begin selling the Series 7 gamer Yellow 3D notebook in Korea from 14 August for 2,990,000 won, which works out at around £1,686.
