iPhone update a no-show for the weekend

1.1.3 stays in the realms of rumour

10 December 2007 9:01 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Despite rumours that Apple was readying a "significant" update for the iPhone on Saturday 8 December, we can report that no such release was issued on Saturday, or indeed over the weekend.

Coming just a month after Pocket-lint exclusively reported version 1.1.2 would go live at the time of the UK launch, firmware update 1.1.3 was said to bring a number of new features to the phone.

The new inclusions were said to be a disk mode for storing general data and a voice recording mode for capturing voice memos.

We will keep you informed if any new information is revealed regarding this update, or when we can expect it.
