The next instalment of the John Madden franchise on the Xbox 360 will utilise “over 6,000 voice commands” as players can bark commands and administer plays with just the sound of their voice.

Beginners will be able to play Madden NFL 13 on the Xbox 360 solely with voice commands, while more advanced players will be able to use their voice in tandem with the Xbox’s game controller

“One thing we're doing, which is pretty innovative with this game, is using what we're calling dynamic grammars," said Victor Lugo, the designer who has implemented Kinect into the game.

"There are commands that we're loading directly into the game right now. What dynamic grammars do is take text and dynamically load it in, the name of the characters you have, your custom audibles and basically uses phonics to sound it out."

The game will be able to handle more than 6,000 voice commands so long as you have the patience to input them and, of course, remember them.

Madden NFL 13 is expected to go on sale at the end of August.
