FA Cup back on Facebook as opening match is live streamed - David Seaman, Ray Parlour and other stars to play

Facebook will broadcast a live stream of the Extra Preliminary Round FA Cup tie between Wembley FC and Langford FC.

The stream will go out simultaneously on ESPN, with viewers able to get a glimpse of a host of former stars as they turn out for Wembley FC, with former England manager Terry Venables as the club’s Technical Advisor.

Former internationals David Seaman, Ray Parlour, Graeme Le Saux, Martin Keown, Claudio Caniggia and Brian McBride are all expected to play some part in the game when it is broadcast live on 11 August (kick off 12.45pm).

It’s the second consecutive year that an opening match in the FA Cup will be broadcast live on Facebook, with Wembley FC previously taking on Ascot United.

Facebook users who wish to watch the game need to visit Budweiser’s official Facebook page at www.facebook.com/budweiseruk.

Wembley FC’s exploits will be recorded as part of an eight part series called Dream. On. The Journey of Wembley FC, due to be broadcast on ESPN from 16 August at 10pm.
