HP's Windows 8 tablet spotted on manufacturer's own blog for a second time

We know one’s coming and now HP might have inadvertently given us a second glance of its Windows 8 HP tablet, dubbed the Slate 8.

Seen on HP’s Make it Matter site, a picture has emerged of woman in a white coat (we presume of the medical profession) holding what is quite clearly an HP tablet. Though it could ultimately prove to be nothing, the tablet does resemble previous alleged footage of the HP Slate 8 again found on the Make it Matter website.

So could the shot be part of a teasing campaign for HP? Or just a dummy model of a device that will never see the light of day?

Genuine or fake, we’re likely to have to wait until around 26 October when Microsoft will be officially rolling out its new operating system Windows 8.

Windows Phone 8 is also rumoured to be gearing up for the October launch, with major manufacturers such as Nokia already prepping the final touches to their WP8 devices.

Do you think this could be HP's Slate 8? Let us know in the comments below...
