HTC has confirmed that it's HTC One Series - including the One X, One S and One XL - will be getting a Google Jelly Bean update.
Though it’s unclear as to when the upgrade to Android 4.1 will take place, the Taiwanese manufacturer has released an official statement confirming the plans.
"We know HTC fans are excited to get their hands on Google's latest version of Android. At this point in time, we can confirm that we have plans to upgrade our HTC One X, HTC One XL and HTC One S to Jelly Bean," it said.
"Please stay tuned for more updates regarding device upgrades, timing and other details about HTC and Jelly Bean."
When Pocket-lint spoke to HTC it was unable to shed any more light, including whether the update would also be arriving on the HTC One V.
Yet after the will it, won’t it confusion over whether the HTC Desire HD would receive an Ice Cream Sandwich update, this at least appears some definitive good news for HTC users.
