American airliner JetBlue has announced along with Yahoo and BlackBerry maker Research in Motion that it plans to offer free, in-flight, Wi-Fi web connections for laptop and BlackBerry users.The service, which will mean passengers can no longer use the flight to kick back watch a movie and enjoy a Bloody Mary will allow passengers access to customized Yahoo mail and Yahoo instant messenger services on their laptops or to access corporate e-mails on Wi-Fi-enabled versions the smartphone.
The service however won't allow regular surfing.
According to Rim the first JetBlue flight offering the service will be on Tuesday 11 December. Phones, Laptops, Airlines, Yahoo, JetBlue, RIM, BlackBerry
