The Sonos Controller has received an update for both the iPhone and iPad as well as on Android tablets. Version 3.8.1 brings several new features depending on what operating system you use Sonos to listen to music.
For example, the Sonos Controller for Android can now be viewed in landscape mode, making it easier for users to flick through their music library and find the track or album they wish to listen to.
Album cover art will also be more prominent on the screen, while Sonos has optimised the controller for both 7-inch and 10-inch display tablets.
iPhone and iPad users will notice an improved visual display with the Sonos iOS controller, thanks to high-resolution graphics that have been implemented specifically for Apple’s Retina Display devices.
Apple users can now also use the hard volume keys on their device to alter the decibels generated from the Sonos music player.
Sonos users should receive over-the-air guidance via the controller on how to update to the latest software.
