Realbuzz launches route planner for runners

A free online tool for fitness freaks has been launched by social networking site realbuzz.com.

"Map Your Passion" allows users to map their favourite running and cycling routes to share with others.

Content you can upload includes video, audio and images to ensure that each route is individualised.

Useful tips like the nearest medical centre, should you have a fall, can also be included; or, for those that like to have a break from keep fit occassionally, you can also load up favourite pub crawls. Information on hotel and travel tips are included as standard with the service.

The "Map Your Passion" routes can be downloaded onto GPS
phones, PDAs and Satnavs.

Fiona Gibbins, marketing director of realbuzz.com adds that further tools are planned including weather and traffic statistics:

"We see our planner as the perfect tool for organising anything from a stag night to a mountain bike race. It really is a true lifestyle planning tool."
