Nike+ Android app goes live in UK, but only for O2 customers

Nike has announced that it will be launching the recently announced Nike + Android app in the UK, but only for O2 customers to begin with.

O2 customers in the UK will have exclusive access to the Nike+ Android app until the end of the year, the company has said.

The Android Nike+ app recently launched, but aside from O2, UK users will have to wait, because it's not available outside the US on all devices.

However, this being Android, that's no problem, as you can simply download the app from any number of third-party sites and install at your leisure. We have it installed on an Orange device and haven't encountered any problems with it.

The new app is expected to be in the Google Play store shortly.
