A hint about the future from Sony

Following on from the launch of the PSP PC store, Sony has hinted that gaming fans will soon be able to download games directly onto their devices.
Excitement amongst PSP owners has been growing since an interview with Eric Lempel, the PlayStation director of network operations (in charge of new online store) was published online.
In it, Lempel admitted that direct downloads to the PSP device was "clearly something the company was looking at".
He continued: "With the capability of the PSP it’s something that should be possible ... It’s just a matter of priorities and some technology that we need to make it all work right and make sure the content is delivered securely, just to protect some of our [intellectual properties]".
Lempel did not give exact details as to when a download service would become available, if at all, but we'll keep you updated.
