Are you a BT Vision customer; maybe a Talk Talk customer perhaps? Turns out if you've been grumbling about your service you aren't alone.
Ofcom has found that the two companies have received the most complaints with regards to mobile, landline, broadband and, for the first time, pay-TV services in its latest findings.
The report, which looks at complaints in the UK between October 2011 and March 2012 found that for Pay TV services BT Vision came out worst with 0.27 complaints per 1,000 customers, while Virgin Media and Sky were 0.07 and 0.03 respectively.
The reason for BT Vision’s shortcomings? Apparently complaints centred on sale processes and billing issues, though Ofcom does state that BT Vision improved on a quarter-on-quarter basis.
As for landline complaints and TalkTalk received the most with 0.72 complaints per 1,000 customers. At the other end of the spectrum Virgin Media was the least complained-about landline service with just 0.16 complaints.
Though TalkTalk received its fewest complaints with regard to landline services in the last quarter, the company also failed to hold its own in the broadband services, again receiving the most amount of complaints with 0.56 per 1,000 customers. Sky’s broadband service on the other hand proved a winner with 0.15 per 1,000 customers.
O2 topped the mobile services with the fewest complaints with 0.02 per 1,000 customers, while 3UK came out top for all the wrong reasons with 0.14 complaints per 1,000 customers.
