In case you hadn’t heard, there’s a little event happening in London this summer. It goes by the name of the Olympic Games. For those not lucky enough to have got their hands on tickets, all the action can now be watched on Acer’s special-edition Olympic Iconia A510.

Pocket-lint got to have a play with the limited-edition version back in March, when we were shown the Olympic branding on the back of the tablet, but it’s now emerged that the device will come preloaded with the Eurosport Player App.

Though the app is free to download, a monthly subscription of £4.99 is needed to view content. However, customers who purchase the Olympic edition of the Iconia A510 will have free access from the day they buy it, to 13 August, thus covering the duration of the games.

Anyone who orders the device before 29 June will also be entered into a draw to win an Acer K330 Projector worth £480.

The Acer Iconia A510 runs on Ice Cream Sandwich, houses a 1.3GHz Quad-core processor, features a 10.1-inch WXGA display and has 32GB of storage.

The special-edition Olympic Acer Iconia A510 is available now from Carphone Warehouse from £349.
