Onkyo Mini Hi-Fi receiver caters for all musical formats, even the CD

Slender, stylish and sexy, but enough about the Pocket-lint team. These adjectives are also rather apt for Onkyo’s Mini Hi-Fi Receiver.

Featuring a DAB+ tuner with the ability to preset 40 digital radio stations, the Onkyo Mini Hi-Fi Receiver is available in black or silver with dials to match and a subwoofer pre-out.

Onkyo has kitted it out with all manner of music attributes too. There’s the front facing CD tray, the obligatory iPhone and iPod dock, FM tuner and a USB port that can be paired to any flash-memory storage device, all of which can be controlled from your sofa via the boxed in remote control.

Onkyo’s receiver can also be plugged into a PC or Mac enabling remote-control access for the likes of iTunes, Spotify and any movies you have downloaded to your computer.

The Onkyo Mini Hi-Fi Receiver will be sold on its own for £250 from August, though it will also be able to be purchased with two D-055 two-way speakers though Onkyo hasn’t said how much extra this will cost.
