Next-gen MacBook Pro to look the same but with an improved Kepler GPU

Images have emerged that suggest Apple’s new MacBook Pro will feature an improved NVIDIA GeForce 650M Kepler GPU and graphics card.

The leaked pictures, of what is said to be the internal mainboard of the new MacBook Pro, also measure up to the design of the existing MacBook Pro, right down to where the screw holes are positioned.

This has led to speculation that although the next-generation MacBook Pro - rumoured to be being unveiled at Apple’s WWDC 2012 event - will house a superior GPU, its shell will be exactly the same as the current model.

There has been much speculation about what Apple might announce at WWDC with regard to its new MacBook range. Along with a possible new design, the Cupertino outfit is also said to be considering including a Retina Display similar to that found in the iPhone 4S and new iPad.

With WWDC just hours away, we won’t have to wait long to find out what Apple has up its sleeve and with Pocket-lint in attendance, we’ll be sure to bring you all the news as soon as we hear.
