I don’t wish to brag, but I’ve known more than my fair share over the years. Some were cool. Some left a nasty taste in my mouth. Occasionally, when the conditions were just perfect, they were out of this world.
It hardly seems fair to pick a favourite, but there was that one at Glastonbury a couple of years ago. I shared it with somebody I hardly knew. Yep, that was probably the best I ever had.
I’m talking about Budweisers. And if I’d had access to trackyourbud.co.uk back in that muddy field, the moment would have been all the more special.
Back then, it was just ice-cold bottle of beer in the midst of a sea of tepid draught lager. It appeared as if by some kind of thirst-quenching miracle, and if I could’ve known it any better, I would have wanted to.
Now, thanks to Budweiser, I can get to know each and every sup of its famous beer, just by logging on here.
