Queen goes High-Def for Christmas Day message

The BBC and Sky have announced that those wanting to experience the Queen's Christmas Day message to the nation on the 25 December in full glorious HD will be able to for the first time.

The two broadcasting company's have said that they will broadcast the Message, which will be the Queen's 50th.

Sky viewers will be able to watch it on Sky Movies HD where it will be followed by the premiere of Casino Royale starring Daniel Craig as 007.

Sky Movies chief Ian Lewis said: “We are excited to be able to broadcast two of the most popular Christmas Day TV highlights in a way the British public has never seen before”.
