E3 2012: Show coverage starts here
We've touched down in Los Angeles, have picked up our press passes, and our knees are trembling at the thought of the swarm of top games titles we're about to play. Yep, it's E3 2012 time and Pocket-lint is ready to rock.
Over the next five days, we'll be reporting live from the Electronics Entertainment Expo, on the big announcements from the top-dog hardware manufacturers - Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo. We'll also bring you hands-ons and previews of some of the hottest games coming up in 2012 and beyond.
And, if the posters already hung at the LA convention centre are any indication, that should include Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed III, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and many more.
The biggest hardware announcement at the show is going to be from Nintendo as the company officially launches its next-generation console, the Nintendo Wii U - not just the concept model we saw last year.
Meanwhile, Microsoft is expected to launch a new music service for the Xbox 360 and further enhance the idea that its console and Kinect sensor are not just about playing games.
Sony, however, remains an enigma. What could it have up its sleeve?
