Dell Windows 8 tablet specs revealed

Dell’s first Windows 8 tablet will be called the Dell Latitude 10 and will house a 10.1-inch display, according to specs leaked on to the internet.

Dell has been quite open about its plans to produce Windows 8 devices, but until now how those plans would materialise was unknown.

The specs, complete with image, were leaked to Neowin.net and show that the device powered by an Intel Clover Trail Atom dual-core processor, be 10.5mm thick and have built-in Intel Integrated Graphics.

In terms of resolution, we’re looking at a 1366 x 768 display, with 2GB of RAM on board and an SSD storage that can support cards of up to a whopping 128GB.

Based on the leak, it also appears there will be two swappable batteries, a 30 WHr and 60 WHr, the first of which will offer 6-8 hours of battery life and the latter 10-12 hours.

No word on when we might be seeing the Dell Latitude 10, if indeed the name is not merely a working title, but with Windows 8 set to arrive around October or November time, we’d guestimate around then.
