Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Actually it’s neither. It is, in fact, Fisker Automotive’s latest plug-in hybrid car. which can run on either electricity or good old-fashioned gasoline.
The Fisker Atlantic, thanks to the second-generation EVer (Electric Vehicle with extended range) powertrain, houses a four-cylinder petrol engine, while drivers can choose between gas and electric by simply switching modes either manually or automatically.
As you can see from these pictures, the Atlantic certainly looks the part with a sporty design and four doors which Fisker claims makes it the perfect car for a family. There’s also a decent amount of room in the boot.
Fisker is keeping schtum about when we might be able to expect the Atlantic’s arrival while keeping the full spec list close to its chest.
However, in terms of price, a tag of around $45,000 has been touted, which while certainly not cheap makes it considerably cheaper than previous Fisker hybrid cars.
What do you think to the Fisker Atlantic? Let us know your thoughts.
