Testosterone-sapping skins

The First range by Ixos for the new iPod nano has got some new glammed up options in time for the stocking filler rush.

The XMI419-AS is made from silicone and available in pink, white or black for £7.99. This option gives your nano protection from dust, dirt and scratches while protecting the screen too. Cut-outs in all the appropriate places obviously give access to all necessary bits.

The XMI419-DI is a heady mix of silicone and diamante, comes in white and costs £9.99. Again there's body and screen protection and all necessary access.

The XMI429-DI "Crystal Diamante" is £14.99 and is clear so your nano's colour can show through, albeit with some diamante effects on the case itself. Complete with a "fashionable" pendant this certainly, er, makes a statement.

For the less girly, there's also just a clear silicon option and the XMI439-SR which is made from aluminium with a silver finish for £17.99. This is created from aircraft grade aluminium and has neoprene inner lining.

All the cases are available from HMV, Halfords and Borders.
