A third update for the Nokia Lumia 800 has begun rolling out in Singapore - one that is said to triple the battery life.
That claim is by WPCentral, which says the 12070 update had the life-expanding effect since a forced-upgrading from the 11401 software.
Back in November we told you how Nokia Lumia 800 early adopters were reporting problems with their devices' battery lives and, just before Christmas, the Finnish company publicly admitted that there was a problem despite a software update hitting earlier that month.
The issues seemed to ease with a second update (version number 1600.2483.8106.11500) that, along with further battery fixes, brought with it improved Wi-Fi.
The latest update, which we hope will begin to roll-out globally soon, will land as it has in Singapore - through Zune Desktop.
Nokia's CEO, Stephen Elop, announced in January that more than 1 million Lumia handsets had been sold already. The handset, which is touted as the saviour of the Finnish company, has been received warmly by the tech review community as well.
