Orange has announced the introduction of a funky little broadband and calls bundle with minutes to landlines, international numbers and mobiles all thrown in.
Claiming the package as a UK first, the deal offers unlimited broadband and landline calls to 30 countries and also 500 inclusive minutes to mobile phones per month.
The new Broadband and Anytime Mobile Calls plan costs £15 per month, plus £13.95 for the line rental. For March only, new and existing Orange users can sign up and get double the inclusive mobile minutes allowance for the first 12 months.
Ernest Doku, broadband and mobile expert at uSwitch.com, says it's a good deal. "At £15 per month, this is one of the more affordable broadband and call deals on the market, and the addition of a landline to mobile allowance will appeal to the millions of people who still use and rely on their landline phones," he said.
"Because of the steep cost of calling mobile numbers from a landline, in many households the landline phone simply sits idle. However, a significant number of people still consider it to be vital and are reluctant to use it to make calls to mobiles only because they're worried about running up a huge phone bill.
"For this group, a broadband and calling package that also makes calling mobiles affordable should prove extremely attractive."
The Broadband and Anytime Mobile Calls plan comes bundled with McAfee Anti-virus 2012 and a Bright Box wireless "n-series" router. You can sign up now.
