Mobile World Congress 2012 kicks-off tonight with announcements coming from HTC, Sony EricssonHuawei and ViewSonic as they launch their new devices.

We’re on the ground in a sunny Barcelona to bring you all the action as it unfolds.

If you’ve been following the news here on Pocket-lint, you’d probably think  MWC was nearly finished, thanks to all the leaks and early announcements - we’ve published almost 60 stories on MWC 2012 already.

HTC is expected to launch a new One series with three models: the HTC One X, HTC One S and HTC One V touting faster processors, bigger screens and more features. Will the rumours come true?

Meanwhile Sony Ericsson has impressed us with the Xperia S launched at CES in Las Vegas. What else will complement its fight-back in 2012? Will it surprise us with a hitherto unmentioned device? Then we’ve got LG, flashing all manner of smartphones before the show.

And there is Nokia, which is expected to announce a new budget Windows Phone 7 device and BlackBerry with details on its new operating system BBOS 10.

We should also see a good showing from Nvidia, Qualcomm, and Intel as the three chip-makers all vie for our attention as to who should power the latest devices.

And all that’s before we get to operator announcements, new technologies, new services and accessories.

There are questions to answer, rumours to confirm and myths to dispel. We will be showing you the hardware you’ll be lusting after for the next year, and bringing you our first impressions on all these exciting developments - once we’ve had the chance to play with everything.

You can follow all the developments in our dedicated Mobile World Congress 2012 channel at, and follow us on Twitter @pocketlint to stay in the picture as all is revealed.
