Nokia and O2 to launch Tube-Phone
Oyster-esque mobile to launch for underground payments

The Guardian reports that the London Underground is readying a system which allows people to pay for journeys using their mobile phones.
A team-up scheme with Transport for London, Nokia and O2 is said to be in final details stage for a handset with an in-built Oyster card.
Similar to how the current Oyster system works, the scheme will mean tube passengers will be able to pay for their journey by swiping the compatible phone across the ticket-reading machine.
It's thought the Nokia handset will use an RFID microchip and the fare could either be deducted from a pre-set-up amount, or added to a phone bill.
