Canon has launched the DW-100 that allows transfer of camcorder footage direct to DVD for what they will no doubt claim is a super-simple way of making home movies.The Canon DW-100, available in the Far East from March 2008, can work with MPEG2 Video in SD as well as high definition video recorded with the AVCHD codec.
If you wanted, or needed to, the DW-100 can be hooked up to to any PC or MAC thanks to its USB connection. Cameras, Canon, Storage, DVD, Camcorders
