Ricoh RR770 digital camera announced

7 megapixel snapper to update the RR750

Ricoh has announced the Ricoh Caplio RR770 digital camera.

The new model, which is the follow-on to the RR750 will sport 7.1 megapixels and come with a 3-inch TFT-LCD screen on the back.

The camera will come equipped with a 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom, for a combined 12x zoom.

The camera will also sport 32MB of internal memory as well as offering users the chance to store images on an SD Card.

The Ricoh Caplio RR770 weighs 140g, and comes with the six scene modes including Auto, Program, Portrait, Landscape, Sports and Night Scene, along with a Movie mode.

Powered by AA batteries, no pricing has been set for the camera as yet.
