Goodmans has launched the GMP34G6, a mini 4GB MP3 player complete with video playback.

The player is slim, compact and black with a 1.8-inch colour screen and joy-pad controls.

It has 4GB of storage – that Goodmans says gives you room for up to 1000 MP3 or 2000 WMA tracks - and 3 hours of video playback. It’s also MP3/WMA/MTV/JPEG compatible.

The voice record function means you can use the player like a dictaphone. You can also store documents on it, once you convert them to a .txt file.

The GMP34G6 also has a micro SD Card slot that allowing you to transport music from your phone to your player and vice versa.

Available now, it's £44.99 from Argos.

  • SAVE YOUR MONEY DON'T BOTHER
    I have one of these all started OK but steadily connection times started getting longer and longer untill needing to wipe the memory clean. After doing this several times I'm now reduced to installing mp3's on the memory card but this has started making the unit lock up for hours on end.
    Also unable to move mp3's between memory card and internal memory
    First class when working
