GPS letter "logger" invented in the States

Keeps track of wayward postal systems

GPS letter

22 November 2007 17:00 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

It looks as if our American brethren have similar postal, er, issues, as we do here in Blighty.

So much so that the United States Postal Service has commissioned a GPS tracking system from TrackingTheWorld Inc.

A quarter of an inch thick and the size of a tri-folded piece of paper, the slimline GPS receiver also has a microSD card slot.

The "Letter Logger" will be showing up US posties from February of next year.
