Apple issues Leopard update

Apple has issued an update for Leopard, its brand spanking new operating system. The Mac OS X 10.5.1 Update updates Mac OS X Leopard version 10.5 to version 10.5.1.

Apple says that the 10.5.1 update is recommended for all users running Mac OS X Leopard and includes general operating system fixes that enhance the stability, compatibility and security of Macs.

The large file - over 100MB - promises to fix glitches with AirPort and wireless networking issues, with Back to My Mac, sorts some disk utilities issues, problems with iCal, Mail issues as well as some Security and Firewall fixes and formatting hiccups with Time Machine.

The update is available now from the Apple site.
