Thrustmaster has announced the launch of what they claim is the world’s first ever joystick for PS3, the T. Flight Stick X.

The new peripherals will let PS3 owners "take to the skies" and manipulate their aircrafts in flying games such as Blazing Angels 2, which it is has a default configuration for.

With no need for lengthy set up and configuration, Thrustmaster states that the T. Flight Stick X offers "instant gratification in true plug and play spirit".

The joystick offers a weighted base for stability, a large hand-rest for comfort, rapid-fire trigger, a rudder for smooth flat turns, throttle to control fuel flow, presets and mapping for buttons and internal memory to remember programming configurations.

Also compatible with PCs, the T. Flight Stick X is available now for £24.99.
