Get a glimpse of Google's new OS

The guys over at Engadget have taken a closer look at the just released software development kit for Google's Android mobile phone operating system.

The pics shown are from the Android OS emulator included with the kit, although obviously the phone itself is not "real", as in not coming to market anytime soon, it shows what could be possible.

The kit will support a touchscreen interface, 3G connectivity, offers a Webkit-based browser, accelerated 3D graphics and support for MPEG4, H.264, MP3, and AAC file formats.
