A phone believed to be the Nokia Lumia 800 Windows Phone 7 handset has appeared on British television over the weekend, in advertising breaks during X Factor and Downton Abbey. And, looking at the clips, it seems as if the actual device is extremely similar to the alleged press shots leaked last week - perhaps corroborating their authenticity.
With the teaser ads and leaked images, it can now be safely surmised that the outer shell of the Nokia 800 will be nigh-on identical to the Nokia N9, and that means that the new Windows Phone 7 Mango handset will have a 3.7-inch screen, a tad smaller than the HTC Radar's 3.8-inch display.
There are few other details to be gleaned from the ads however, although you can be guaranteed that the new device will sport a camera, headphone jack, volume buttons and, get this, a slot for your SIM card (microSIM, most likely) - all exciting stuff, eh?
The Nokia 800 is expected to be properly unveiled at the start of Nokia World later this week. And we'd put our houses on the product being announced during the opening keynote speech at 9am (GMT) in London on 26 October.
Pocket-lint will be there to bring you the news as it happens.
