iPhone 4S goes on sale

18 months of waiting comes to an end as the latest iPhone, the iPhone 4S, goes on sale around the world today: 14 October 2011.

With over 1m pre-orders and expected weekend sales of over 3m iPhone 4S smartphones, the Apple faithful (customers) who’ve yet to pre-order the new phone are getting ready to spend the next few weeks battling for the phone industry’s most sought after gadget. iPhone 4S-wanting people of Leeds, we feel especially sorry for you.

American networks are already reporting that all pre-order stock had been depleted. Even Apple in the UK is saying that new orders will be delivered in 1-2 weeks.
