iPhone 4S ripped apart on launch day
You might be waiting for your iPhone 4S to arrive, but the chaps at iFixit.com have decided just to rip theirs open and see what’s inside so you don’t have to.
So what’s inside? 512MB of DDR2 RAM, an updated Qualcomm MDM6610 chip and 16GB of NAND flash memory courtesy of Toshiba, to name but a few treats.
The final conclusion as to whether you’ll be able to fix it if something goes wrong?
According to the site, the iPhone 4S gets an iFixit repairability score of 6 out of 10 (10 is easiest to repair) with very little that "has changed from the iPhone 4 in terms of repairability."
